The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable moving between warehouse and driving duties in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

DRIVING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate company vehicles including an International Stake Truck (15,000 lb hauler) and Ford Pickup Truck — both flatbed-equipped with heavy racking requiring removal and reinstallation during loading/unloading
  • Perform warehouse transfers between company buildings and customer deliveries up to approximately 2 hours one-way
  • All driving is local and entirely within New York State — no out-of-state travel
  • Driving time varies by workload, typically ranging from 2 to 16 hours per week
  • Comply with all applicable DOT and company vehicle safety requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately pull, pack, and stage materials for customer orders

  • Label package containers accurately
  • Prepare and process packing slips; allocate inventory using computer systems
  • Complete bills of lading and coordinate outgoing freight with trucking companies
  • Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain organized, labeled storage locations
  • Track materials accurately and follow inventory control procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment and company vehicles
  • Collaborate effectively with shipping, sales, and operations teams

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Ability to remove and reinstall heavy truck racking during loading and unloading operations
  • Ability to remain on feet for the full duration of the shift
