Warehouse Clerk
Summary
Processes incoming shipments, verifies inventory accuracy, and maintains warehouse organization using ERP/WMS systems and material-handling equipment.
Our warehouse team plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our receiving team and help ensure that all inbound materials are processed accurately and on time.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect materials for accuracy and quality.
- Match packing slips and purchase orders to ensure correct documentation.
- Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system (ERP or WMS).
- Label and organize received materials in designated storage areas.
- Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to the purchasing or inventory control team.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support smooth daily operations.
- 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or warehouse management systems a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Dependable and punctual, with a positive attitude.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
