Warehouse Clerk/Relief Driver
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Clerk/Relief Driver is primarily responsible for accurately pulling orders, receiving orders, rotating stock, and loading Co-op trucks for delivery routes. The Warehouse Clerk/Relief Driver will additionally be responsible on an as needed basis for safely and efficiently operating a distribution vehicle and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to locations on an assigned route schedule. Adhering to all safety protocols and providing internal/external customer service is key for success in this position. While trucks are onsite and at delivery locations, the Warehouse Clerk/Relief Driver may assist with merchandising product on and off the truck during deliveries and support receiving duties.
SOME ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily order pulling and receiving of inventory.
• Load and unloads trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
• Maintain inventory controls through minimizing products damage, checking dates, organization and ensuring order accuracy.
• Safely drives and operates company vehicles for the stocking and delivery of products to locations.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and co-op safety programs.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and stocking at warehouse and visiting locations.
• Maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
• Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, members, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
