Job Description
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations and activities.
- Coordinate receiving, unloading, checking, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch.
- Coordinate manpower allocation based on daily operational requirements.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing goods to ensure timely processing.
- Ensure goods are received, checked, stored, and dispatched according to SOP.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure accurate preparation and checking of delivery orders, picking lists, and other warehouse documents.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the WMS/ERP system.
- Conduct regular stock checks and support cycle counting activities.
- Assist in investigating stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excesses.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and identification of inventory.
- Monitor pallet locations, racking locations, and floor storage areas.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO procedures are followed where applicable.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and recommend relocation when required.
- Coordinate stock transfers between different warehouse locations.
- Follow up on pending receiving, picking, and dispatch activities.
- Monitor daily operational targets and productivity.
- Prepare daily warehouse operation and inventory reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of warehouse activities.
- Ensure warehouse housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained.
- Ensure warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed.
- Report damaged goods, operational issues, safety incidents, and discrepancies to management.
- Support stock take and inventory audit activities.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in improving warehouse processes.
- Train and guide warehouse operators on daily work procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years of warehouse operations experience.
- Experience in a warehouse coordinator, senior warehouse operator, or similar position preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Experience handling palletized and racked inventory.
- Experience coordinating warehouse manpower and daily activities.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and stock movement procedures.
- Experience with WMS/ERP or warehouse inventory systems.
- Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in stock counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Experience coordinating with transporters and drivers.
- Forklift experience or certification is an advantage.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety and housekeeping requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Able to work under pressure and meet daily operational deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and responsible in handling warehouse documentation and inventory.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
