This role will be responsible for delivering Warehouse & Distribution Logistics operations to support a number of stadiums/venues, ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery of services throughout the tournament.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the lead Logistics representative for FIFA functions and external stakeholders for Warehouse Logistics operations.
- Develop and implement the Warehouse strategy to align with Logistics service levels and ensure cost effective storage solution for FWWC27.
- Lead the overall planning, implementation, operational process across all Warehouse Logistics operations to achieve a seamless supply chain solution.
- Produce standard operating procedures, workflow charts and communication strategies for Distribution operations.
- In collaboration with the Venue Logistics, Materials and Warehouse work streams, coordinate all move orders (from warehouses to venues, venue-to-venue and venue to warehouse.) Remain in constant communication with Venue Logistics to ensure the needs of the venue and functional areas are being met in a timely manner.
- In conjunction with Security personnel, ensure a secure delivery corridor of goods to and from venues.
- Determine delivery methods to minimize redundant costs and training requirements.
- Control the load schedules, supervise drivers, set project goals, evaluate and manage employee performance.
- Initialize driver training, including hands-on driver trainings and route testing.
- In conjunction with Transportation, oversee the establishment of tournament delivery routes inclusive of venue-to-venue routes, and delivery drive times and other metrics involving routes to venues.
- Education: Engineering, Administration, Economics, International relations or other related areas
- Experience: Strong experience in customs and freight in Brazil
