We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Shop Helper who is comfortable working with their hands, driving throughout the Raleigh area, lifting heavy equipment and materials, and working in an unconditioned warehouse/shop environment.

This is a physical, fast-paced position. It is not a typical office or climate-controlled warehouse job. Your day will involve loading and unloading trucks, moving HVAC and plumbing equipment, making parts runs, delivering materials to technicians, and helping keep the shop and warehouse organized and ready for the next day's work.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload HVAC and plumbing equipment, materials, and install trucks.
• Safely move heavy equipment, parts, tools, and materials throughout the warehouse and shop.
• Pull, organize, and stage equipment and materials for upcoming installations.
• Verify equipment, parts, and delivery orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Receive and put away incoming shipments in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Make frequent trips to HVAC and plumbing supply houses to pick up parts and materials.
• Deliver parts and equipment to technicians and installers throughout the service area.
• Assist with loading service and installation vehicles.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse, shop, loading areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist HVAC and plumbing technicians and installers with materials and other job-related needs.
• Perform other warehouse, shop, delivery, and support duties as assigned.

This Job Requires You To

• Drive frequently throughout the workday to supply houses, job sites, and company locations.
• Lift and move heavy HVAC and plumbing equipment and materials regularly.
• Work on your feet for extended periods.
• Work in an unconditioned shop and warehouse, including hot and cold temperatures depending on the season.
• Work around trucks, equipment, tools, and construction materials.
• Follow safety procedures and company instructions.
• Maintain a dependable attendance and work schedule.
• Work independently while also being a team player.
• Have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
