Position Summary

The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing scheduled and ad hoc physical inventory counts to verify inventory accuracy in the distribution warehouse. This role identifies and helps resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, supporting accurate stock levels for fulfillment and production operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform daily cycle counts of assigned inventory locations according to a set schedule

· Reconcile physical counts against warehouse management system (WMS) records

· Investigate and document the root cause of count discrepancies

· Adjust inventory records as authorized to correct verified discrepancies

· Report recurring or high-value discrepancies to the Inventory Control Manager

· Maintain organized, labeled, and accurately located inventory throughout assigned areas

· Support annual/periodic full physical inventory counts

· Use RF scanners and WMS software to record count data

· Identify damaged, expired, or mislabeled product and route per company procedure

· Collaborate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to resolve inventory location issues

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with warehouse safety standards

· Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
