Warehouse Lead

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient, safe, and accurate logistics execution. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting team performance, and driving operational excellence across all warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counts

Lead and complete weekly and monthly cycle counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform reconciliations.
Document root causes and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the warehouse.
Lead by example in maintaining safe work practices.

Logistics Coordination

Coordinate resources and activities across all warehouse and logistics functions.
Ensure all incoming materials are received and processed daily.
Maintain clean, organized dock areas at the end of each shift.
Ensure compliance with auto-issue and inventory transaction procedures.

Supply Management

Monitor warehouse and shipping supply inventory levels.
Identify and communicate replenishment needs proactively.
Help prevent operational disruptions by maintaining adequate stock levels.

Schedule & Operational Support

Maintain reliable attendance and adherence to assigned schedules (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
Support operational needs through overtime when necessary.
Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional materials, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.
Experience with cable products and electronic components is a plus.
Knowledge of SAP preferred; experience with other ERP systems will be considered.
Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.
Ability and willingness to obtain forklift and/or material handling equipment certification as required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
