Warehouse Lead
Summary
Lead a warehouse shipping team, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time using RF scanners and forklifts while training and directing staff.
Join our shipping and receiving team and use your previous knowledge to help guide the shipping department to success as a Lead in the department. Properly prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive customer satisfaction. We offer a full benefits package that full-time employees are eligible for on day 1. This role is Monday-Friday 10a-6:30pm with overtime possible on Saturdays.
JOB DUTIES:
- Transporting material in the shipping department
- Picking and packing orders utilizing an RF scanner
- Operating stand-up reach forklift
- Ensure zero product delinquency
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Execute standard procedures
- Scheduling workflow
- Directing associates into a variety of job duties
- Overseeing department functions under the supervisor
- Training/coaching employees in the department
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
- 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
- 2+ years of experience using a RF scanner
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Basic computer skills
