Warehouse & Logistics Assistant (Full Time / 5 Days Work Week)

As a Warehouse & Logistics Assistant, you will support the smooth and efficient operation of daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, checking, sorting, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. You will assist with inventory control, order fulfilment, delivery coordination, and stock movement while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks. This role requires a reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented individual who works well in a team and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inspection

• Support in unloading and receiving incoming shipments and goods.

• Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Check received goods against purchase orders, delivery orders, shipping manifests, or other relevant documents to ensure accuracy.

• Assist in sorting, labelling, and putting away goods in the designated storage locations.

• Maintain proper arrangement of goods to ensure efficient use of warehouse space and easy accessibility.
  

Inventory Control

• Perform systematic labelling and put-away of goods to ensure accurate stock identification and storage.

• Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Report stock variances, discrepancies, damaged, or missing goods promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Assist in maintaining proper inventory records and ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded.
  

Order Fulfilment

• Accurately pick, pack, and label goods according to delivery schedules, customer requirements, or shipping instructions.

• Ensure goods are properly checked and prepared for local delivery, export shipment, or customer collection.

• Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles or containers safely and efficiently.

• Ensure all goods are properly packed and handled to minimise the risk of damage during transportation.
  

Dispatch & Coordination

• Assist in coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and couriers to support timely delivery and collection of goods.

• Support the preparation and handover of goods to delivery personnel, transporters, or customers.

• Assist in ensuring goods are ready for dispatch according to the required delivery schedule.

• Support other delivery and logistics activities as assigned to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  

System Updating & Documentation

• Update inventory movements, including receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, and dispatches, promptly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

• Ensure inventory records are accurate and properly maintained in the system.

• Assist in checking and maintaining relevant warehouse and inventory documentation.
  

Safety & Warehouse Maintenance

• Adhere to Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines, company safety procedures, and warehouse safety requirements at all times.

• Ensure goods are handled, stored, and moved safely to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to products.

• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and organisation of the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

• Maintain and use warehouse equipment properly and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum O Level or equivalent qualification.

• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain is preferred. Fresh graduates may also be considered.

• Basic understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, stock handling, and dispatch.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems, WMS, or ERP systems is preferred.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual work, including lifting and moving goods of up to 20kg.

• Able to operate basic material handling equipment such as hand pallet jacks.

• Possession of a valid Singapore Forklift Driver’s Licence and/or Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage.

• Reliable, responsible, punctual, and attentive to detail, with a positive and hands-on attitude.

• Good team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Willing to work flexible hours and support company sales events, deliveries, or other operational requirements when necessary.
