The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and managing logistics providers. This role leads the importation of goods from foreign suppliers, including managing import licensing, customs clearance, and other related activities. In addition, this position requires providing regular updates to the direct manager regarding inventory management, stock movements, inventory levels, and security.

Core Responsibilities

  • Implement the plant's goods receipt process for all raw materials, packaging, spare parts, operating supplies, assets, and services.

  • Maintain accurate, traceable, and neatly organized functional documentation.

  • Lead all aspects of warehouse operations in accordance with 5S, Visual Workplace, Safety, and GMP standards.

  • Manage warehouse facilities and equipment sustainably by following design specifications and executing Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance programs.

  • Ensure all working procedures are efficient and up to date.

  • Supervise stock movements accurately, ensuring reconciliation aligns with Finance policies.

  • Champion the use of the SAP system in inventory management by developing and promoting training programs, system skills, and academic knowledge.

  • Oversee the performance of transporters and forwarders, providing constructive feedback and driving continuous improvement.

  • Monitor the arrangement of goods across various sites to ensure full inventory visibility.

  • Stay updated on regional and international regulatory requirements to ensure seamless cross-border sourcing, customs clearance, and duty payments.

  • Collaborate with regional and international forwarders and transporters to book and manage the transportation of goods.

  • Validate rental warehouse space, local transportation costs, duty fees, and overall spending according to established processes.

  • Drive the functional digital roadmap to accelerate process improvements, enhancing operational autonomy and transparency.

  • Build and improve team members' capabilities, aligning their competencies with current job requirements and future talent needs.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading both operational and office teams, with strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner Collaboration: Experience collaborating with external partners (e.g., 3PL/4PL providers, global divisions). Familiarity with customs departments is a strong advantage.

  • Systems Knowledge: Experience using ERP systems; SAP experience is highly preferred.

  • Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in data analysis tools with a data-driven approach to decision-making and strong critical thinking skills.
