Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific operates a Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai, Johor, serving as a key distribution hub for spare parts and accessories across 21 Asia Pacific countries.
As an Intern, you will support Warehouse Management team in daily operations, warehouse automation, digital transformation and documentation, while gaining hands-on exposure to automotive parts logistics and warehouse management processes.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations (Inbound, Outbound, & Internal Processes)
- Support end-to-end warehouse operations across both inbound and outbound functions.
- Assist in receiving, unloading, put-away, picking, packing, and returns processing while meeting operational KPIs.
- Execute warehouse transactions using SAP EWM/WMS to ensure timely and accurate system updates.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers to support daily operations and customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse staff and other departments to maintain smooth and efficient daily operations.
2. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI)
- Analyze operational performance data to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Drive warehouse automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Identify and suggest innovative improvements in warehouse processes and procedures to enhance overall productivity.
3. Safety & Environment
- Ensure strict compliance with warehouse safety regulations, quality standards, and operational SOPs to maintain a secure work environment.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare operational reports and comprehensive project documentation.
