Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensures that all Stock Requisitions are disbursed to the Warehouse colleagues for Timely Picking of Orders, whilst managing Warehouse colleagues to maintain the prescribed levels of productivity and service levels.
• Responsible for the issuance of Stock in accordance with the Purchasing Inventory Management system (PIM) Issue Requisition as created by distinct Atlantis employee with regards to Quantity, Quality and specifications.
• Customer Service as measured by order delivery accuracy and on time shipping performance with respect to distribution.
• Responsible for shift management of all DC/Warehouse personnel as scheduled; specifically: W-House Managers, Quality Control Managers, Asst. Managers, Storekeepers, Bus/Truck Drivers in accordance with prescribed SCM/DC workflow and company rules and regulations,
• Ensure slow moving stock items are properly identified, monitored, and communicated in writing to upper Management monthly.
• Investigate and document damaged stock items listings for designated Warehouse and verify before submission to the Inventory Control department. In order to facilitate write off of same from inventory.
• Monitor proper storage and rotation of all stock items in an effort to maintain standards of FIFO inventory management system. In an effort to maintain standards of sanitation, while reducing losses due to spoilage and pilferage.
• Ensure the Warehousing key control and lock-up procedures are adhered to, without exception.
• Ensure all items received by the Receiving Department are cleared from the Staging area of the Warehouse as expeditiously as possible without exception, so as to maintain PIM system integrity; any lapses in this regard by the Receiving department are to be brought to the attention of upper management.
• Ensure all daily requisitions (manual or system generated) are filed by outlet, by day, by calendar month in ascending order, readily available for Management as requested.
• Ensure that all daily requisitions are correct as to the Order Time (met Cut –off time), item and quantity, as well as orders properly processed.
• Liaise with Management and co-workers to perform assigned task/s as requested by immediate Supervisor.
• Responsible for Spoilage & Variance Control/Containment.
• Maintain our PIM System stock sequencing and physical layout of all products in order to allow for correct storeroom receiving, storing, issuing and inventory taking.
• Maintain a clean and neat Storeroom environment at all times.
• As required assist, substitutes / fills in for Asst. Director DC in the Disposal of the Company’s Assets as prescribed by management, for all IHCL BU and affiliated properties (HOA, Reef etc.)
• Ensure all prescribed Warehouse Management Reports/Checklists are duly filled out/ created and filed as defined by management.
• Ensure all respective storeroom reports/source documents are forwarded to the appropriate Inventory Control Department on a daily/weekly monthly basis.
• Ensures as a member of Management that all Line Staff follow and subscribe to the rules and regulations of the DC/Warehouse and the Company as a whole. Those deemed as not following the prescribed rules and regulations are to be held accountable, as per the guidelines set by the Company.
• Ensures employee safety practices are in place.
• Train other Warehouse employees on PIM system and other warehouse practices and polices as required.
• Ensure all PIM system Users who abuse or do not properly create requisitions are identified and noted by day of occurrence and subsequently brought to the attention of Management.
• Work closely with leaders on the development of staff.
• General Equipment maintenance including Trucks, Forklifts, Pallet jacks, and all other applicable Warehouse Equipment.
• General Facility maintenance including racking, floor, and other stationary equipment.
• Performs other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance or enrollment and 50% complete in a Bachelor’s degree Program at an accredited institution and three years’ experience in a similar position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Sound knowledge of purchasing application.
A minimum of five management/supervisory level experience in Warehousing, Receiving and Warehouse Transportation functions.
Must be a motivated self-starter who displays initiative and possesses the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, as necessary.
Ability to deal with a wide range of employees including upper management with regards to the day-to-day operation of the Distribution Center and special projects within the Supply Chain Division.
Computer proficient with Inventory Management software, MS Office Suites
