The warehouse manager will be highly organised and results-driven to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products.
You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff and inventory, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and optimising warehouse operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff and inventory, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and optimising warehouse operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods.
- Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate stock records.
- Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Analyse logistical problems and produce new solutions.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software to monitor the flow of goods and resources.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse metrics and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience within a warehouse or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership capability and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification
