Warehouse Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and manage logistics, transportation, warehouse, and customer service operations.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of logistics personnel.
• Oversee inventory control, order processing, and distribution operations.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, reports, and logistics KPIs.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track SKU-level data, ensuring real-time visibility for the sales team regarding "In-Stock" availability.
• Work closely with the Sales team and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Manage repair and maintenance for warehouse and overall building facility.
• Schedule delivery and pick-up of goods. Ensure trucks are loaded effectively to balance weight (beverages are heavy!) and protect fragile cargo during transit.
• Implement cycle count reports on monthly basis, strictly enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols to minimize “dumping” or stock write-offs due to expired beverages
• Organize warehouse in proper and efficient manner and annual stock-take.
• Always Liaise and support management on specific programs and targets.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain and Custom declarant certificate will be a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of managing logistics operations.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Possess excellent leadership and motivational skills, team player and ensure cost-effective and high-performance logistics processes.
• Work as a team to assist in hands-on picking and packing of goods when necessary.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if necessary.
