Warehouse Manager

The role ensures efficient and safe movement of materials from point of receipt through storage

and issuance to Production, as well as the handling and dispatch of finished goods. The position

is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimising warehouse and yard space, ensuring

efficient loading and offloading operations, and minimising handling losses, delays, and

unnecessary operational costs.

The Warehouse Manager will work closely with Production, Procurement & Logistics, Engineering

& Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and other relevant functions to ensure timely material

availability and efficient movement of goods across the facility.

The role also requires practical knowledge of consignment haulage, container/truck handling,

offloading and reloading operations, forklifts, pallet handling, and other material-handling

equipment.

The role reports to the Operations Manager.

Experience & Education

1. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business

Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum 7 years’ relevant warehouse, logistics, materials management, or supply

chain experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

3. Proven experience managing warehouse receiving, container/truck offloading, loading,

dispatch, inventory control, and material-handling operations.

4. Demonstrated experience coordinating high-volume consignments and working with

haulage providers, transporters, and logistics teams.
