Warehouse night order selector
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately selecting, picking, and organizing orders for distribution
- Meet established productivity standards of 100 cases per hour upon completion of the training period
- Maintain a zero-error environment by minimizing shorts, mispicks, and weight discrepancies
- Perform all picking activities in accordance with WMS best practices, including scanning product barcodes and carton weight labels
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during picking and pallet-building processes
- Develop product knowledge to support troubleshooting and operational efficiency
- Gain proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Learn and adhere to ISO standards and 7S Lean practices
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with billing staff and management
- Cross train in various warehouse functions to support operational needs
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment such as safety vests and safety shoes
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced environment. The average production rate is 100 cases picked per hour.
Physical Effort
- Lifting and packing boxes from 100 pounds and down.own.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
