Summary
Manage pharmaceutical warehouse operations: receive, verify, and issue raw materials/packaging; enforce FIFO/FEFO, cold-chain storage, and strict documentation to support production and audits.

Job Title: Warehouse Officer
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos and Sagamu, Ogun
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive raw materials (APIs/excipients) and packaging components. Verify physical quantities, batch numbers, and damage against invoices and delivery notes.
* Ensure newly received products are properly routed to quarantine zones, clearly labeled, and held until formally released by Quality Assurance (QA).
* Issue accurate weights and volumes of raw materials to the production floor (e.g., Granulation and Liquid Filling teams) in strict accordance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
* Ensure timely processing of warehouse transactions and material movements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
* Optimize warehousing, logistics, and inventory management costs.
* Manage logistics, warehouse, and customs service providers.
* Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs
* Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock counts. Maintain up-to-date bin cards, stock ledgers, and database entries.
* Maintain and monitor specific temperature and humidity levels required for pharmaceutical materials (e.g., cold chain storage).
* Adhere strictly to Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Keep neat, traceable records of all stock cards, waybills, and dispatch files.
* Implement strict FIFO/FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols to ensure older raw materials and packaging assets are utilized first
* Computer skills, e.g MicrosoftWord,Excel,and spreadsheets
* Budgeting and payment of weekly loading/off loading expenses.
* Printing and transferring of raw materials and packaging materials used for daily production.
* Involve in quarterly/annual stock taking of raw material stocks.
* Confirming daily output from the production records.
* Ensure an effective inventory management of Spare parts.
* Receive all spare parts and ensure necessary documentation and records.
Qualifications
1. Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting or any Numerical Sciences
2. Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
At least 3 years in role managing warehouse location and logistics operations.
Experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals.
