Job Overview:

AEG Fuels is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned Ground Support Equipment (GSE) warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia or Cocoa Beach, Florida. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, maintenance, storage, tracking, and distribution of GSE assets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational performance.

The Warehouse Operations Manager will coordinate daily warehouse activities, oversee the movement of equipment to and from customer locations, manage third-party transportation and service providers, and partner closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Success. This individual will help ensure equipment is delivered


on time, properly maintained, accurately tracked, and billed appropriately while improving equipment availability, reducing downtime, and strengthening warehouse processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned warehouse location, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse procedures, operational standards, and best practices to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Supervise the receiving, inspection, storage, preparation, and shipment of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Ensure all equipment meets quality control standards before being released to customers or returned to inventory.
  • Administer the preventive maintenance program for warehouse inventory and coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Schedule and coordinate equipment inspections, servicing, refurbishments, and repairs with internal resources and external vendors.
  • Manage third-party carriers and contractors supporting equipment deliveries and retrievals.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely deliveries and equipment returns.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor asset tracking throughout the equipment lifecycle.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to document equipment movements, rentals, maintenance costs, invoicing, and billing activities.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and availability while identifying opportunities to improve asset productivity.
  • Track warehouse KPIs and maintain operational dashboards, including inventory accuracy, equipment utilization, repair turnaround time, on-time deliveries, and customer service metrics.
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to support customer equipment needs and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Maintain contingency plans for equipment shortages, transportation delays, and operational disruptions.
  • Recommend automation, technology, and process improvements that strengthen warehouse efficiency.
  • Monitor operating expenses and manage warehouse vendors and service agreements.
  • Prepare operational reports, escalate concerns, and recommend improvements to department leadership.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, fleet, or operations experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience managing GSE, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, fleet assets, or similar capital equipment strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating third party logistics providers and transportation vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, quality control, and asset management.
  • Experience overseeing preventive maintenance and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Financial and operational acumen with experience supporting billing, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that may include bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse compliance requirements.
  • Experience implementing warehouse process improvements or automation initiatives.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
