Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description:

Manage day-to-day operations in the warehouse; provide leadership to a team of operations and administrative staff in the area of inbound, outbound, and inventory management (cold chain management)
Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and meet according to the customer service levels
Develop plans to enhance the organization’s competitiveness
Account for overall cost analysis and ensure that the department remains competitive
Effectively manage P&L and budget
Control, develop and maintain all internal/external documentation for procedures and work instructions
To be the operations lead for all negotiations, improvement initiatives, price reviews, contract revisions and all other customers/vendors communications.
Support ad-hoc quality improvement/cost-effectiveness/potential business gain or feasibility study projects and initiate new process changes
Ensure the accuracy of all vendor invoicing, customer billing and warehouse inventories
Ensure a safe, clean and healthy working environment in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
Undertake any other duties and handle ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time.

Requirement:

Minimum Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or similar discipline.
Minimum 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in cold chain management.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on operational experience in the cold storage environment.
Knowledge of 3PL, and WMS systems.
Punctual, good working attitude, physically fit, responsible, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a Singapore Forklift License preferred.
Be able to work in the cold room, capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
