About the Role

Layelle Africa is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory, order fulfilment, staff performance and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Plan and allocate tasks while supervising staff attendance, productivity and performance.
• Monitor inventory, stock counts, reconciliation and movement of goods.
• Coordinate order processing and timely dispatch with logistics partners/couriers.
• Identify and escalate stock discrepancies, damages, losses and operational issues.
• Implement warehouse procedures and SOPs while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or operations management.
• Previous experience supervising warehouse or operations staff.
• Strong organisational, coordination and communication skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and order fulfilment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and basic digital reporting tools.
• Ability to work hands-on and effectively manage a warehouse team.
