WareHouse Operator (3mths Contract Renewable)
Summary
Performs daily warehouse tasks like picking, packing, and pallet handling to ensure smooth cargo flow and storage accuracy in a logistics facility.
Job Responsibilities of Warehouse Operator:
Picking & Packing, shrink wrapping, pull pallets and general warehouse duties
Receive, handle, load, unload incoming and outgoing cargo
Conduct checks on cargo to ensure accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing cargo
Handle all goods with care to prevent damage during movement and storage
Report any cargo damages, discrepancies or shortages to Supervisor / Team Leader
Sort cargo according to relevant SOP set by the Supervisor / Team Leader
Pack cargo securely based on handling guidelines and SOP
Always ensure good housekeeping of the warehouse
Ensure work areas are free from hazard and obstructions
Handle warehouse equipment / tools in a proper and safe manner
Report any faulty or damaged equipment to Supervisor immediately
Support team members and assist in other warehouse duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
Requirements
Min 1 year work experience in warehouse operations
Physically fit and able to lift up to 15kg
Experience with the use of hand pallet jack.
Knowledge with use of WMS would be advantageous
Written and spoken English
