Warehouse Order Selector

Order Selectors are responsible for safe, secure and accurate filling of orders and ensuring they arrive at the dock doors complete and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick store orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped

• Transport orders to the correct dock door utilizing a pallet jack

• Use a voice-controlled system to select full-case grocery, frozen or perishable product using a ride on pallet jack

• Select orders in a safe, quick and accurate manner in order to meet labor standards

• Safely operate power equipment creating a safe work environment

• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly and safe work area

• Comply with OSHA regulations and/or MSDS standards

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Key Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules

• Ability to work at a fast pace, but efficient and controlled manner to meet performance standards

• Must be self-driven to meet goals

• Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading and counting

• Ability to operate various material handling equipment including a pallet jack and maintain your equipment certifications

• Ability to work in various temperatures for periods of up to12 hours per day

• Ability to load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 100 pounds

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift up to 12 hours

• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude

• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
