Summary

An opening currently exists for a Warehouse Worker at the Metal Mart in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Worker operates the accessory inventory area in a manner that will provide accurate inventory balances, prompt processing of customer orders, and an orderly physical arrangement of products.

• Maintains a secure area for all accessory and store items.
• Maintains inventory levels through daily review of the "Stock Report."
• Fills customer orders by matching "Pick Slips" to shippers; pulls orders from accessory shelves; enters transactions and checks-in receipts on the mainframe computer.
• Processes and arranges for carrier pick-ups.
• Receives packages from commercial package handlers and notifies employees of their arrival.
• Identifies surplus and obsolete items and recommends action to Operations Manager.
• Keeps assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion that displays both a positive image of the company and allows the job to be performed in an efficient manner.
• Participates in the physical inventory of accessory items as requested.
• Other duties as required.

Experience/Skills

• Math - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals.
• Reading - Ability to read and understand technical journals, manuals, reference books.
• Writing - Ability to write clear instructional messages.
• 3 to 6 months experience in an accessories environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
