Warehouse Person

Job Purpose:
- The Warehouse Person at PAY-LESS is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and materials, ensuring that products are available for customers in a timely and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading and unloading of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and resolve any warehouse-related issues.
- Assist in the implementation of warehouse management systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support in the training and development of new warehouse staff as needed.
