Warehouse Processing Associate - Widow Jane
What the Role Is
The Widow Jane Distillery is looking for a Warehouse Processing Associate who is proficient on the Forklift and comfortable driving a 12' Penske Box truck. This position will work closely with the operations and production team to learn and assist with the daily functions of warehouse and distillery production.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Rearranging and stacking warehouse inventory and barrels
- Loading and unloading trucks on forklift
- Transporting inventory from one warehouse to another via Penske Truck
- Pulling samples, bottling, labeling, packing, and other distillery tasks
- Assisting in assembling whiskey blends
- Perform other duties as assigned and requested
Who You Are…
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of work-related manufacturing experience, preferably in a brewery, winery or distillery
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving a forklift and/or box truck preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license
- OSHA and handling of Hazardous Materials training a plus
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to work in a team and be a self-starter

- Stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms.

In New York, the expected compensation range for this role is $21.00 per hour. Actual starting pay may differ based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
