Manion’s Wholesale Building Supplies is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Warehouse Processor to join our team. The Warehouse Processor plays an important role in keeping our warehouse and yard running efficiently by receiving, handling, organizing, staging, and loading building materials and customer orders. This hands-on position helps ensure materials are handled safely and accurately and that our customers receive the quality service they expect from Manion’s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming lumber, building materials, and other products.
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- Move, stack, organize, and maintain inventory throughout the warehouse and yard.
- Verify products and quantities against orders, tickets, or other documentation.
- Assist with preparing materials for delivery, including bundling, wrapping, labeling, and staging.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and proper material-handling procedures.
- Assist customers, drivers, and other team members with loading and material handling as needed.
- Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, lumberyard, building materials, or material-handling experience preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required; ability to become certified as required.
- Ability to accurately read and follow orders, tickets, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively in varying extreme weather conditions when working outdoors.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull building materials and other products.
- Ability to safely handle heavy and bulky materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physical work in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments.
Work Environment
This position is in an outdoor lumber yard and manufacturing environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and material-handling equipment around vehicles, trailers, rail cars, and building materials. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting are required. Employees must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
