THE TYPE OF WAREHOUSE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in transportation or administrative roles, are preferred.


WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR WAREHOUSE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SPECIALIST

This is a full-time, 3rd-shift position working Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.


In this role, you'll generate and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records within the ERP system, followed by reviewing and electronically archiving key documentation. You'll also carefully audit sales orders, pick tickets, shipping paperwork, and inventory transactions to prevent errors before they occur. Throughout the shift, you'll coordinate dock schedules and help prioritize shipments by balancing customer needs, production output, staffing levels, equipment availability, and carrier schedules, keeping products moving efficiently and operations running smoothly.
