Warehouse Shipping Manager (Grapevine, TX)

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Warehouse & Shipping/Receiving Manager in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity overseeing daily warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, and logistics coordination.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage a warehouse team, streamline operations, control shipping costs, and ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Required:

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Hands-on experience overseeing both shipping and receiving operations, inventory control, and cycle counting
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, OSHA requirements, and forklift operations
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Preferred:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel shipping, carrier management, and freight cost optimization
• Experience with international shipping, hazmat documentation, or DOT compliance
• Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or forklift certification
