Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Agent

Your challenge:

Material movement:

Facilitating the material transfer between the different warehouses and the shipyard,
Transfer material from an onboard location to another onboard location,
Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of materials on site,
Sorting and packing materials and delivering to yard upon receiving order

Shipping, Receiving, Handling:
Support the warehouse team with material movement or other related tasks including but not limited to:

Verifying the condition of the goods received, photographing, and quarantining any items that do not meet specifications,
Completing receiving in the ERP system,
QA/QC materials received with help of Engineers.
Labelling and tracking of received equipment.
Install protection on equipment
Opening the crates and verifying that goods received match the packing slips (part, part number, dimensions, etc.),

Other responsibilities:

Identify potential safety hazards
Respect the SMW 280 collective agreement

What candidate profile are we looking for?

1-2 years experience in similar role;
Comfortable with working in an industrial environment, which includes noise, sparks and uneven surfaces
Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent;
Basic knowledge of ERP (an asset).
Good Communicator
Highly organized
Forklift Certification or availability to obtain certification;
Hold a valid driver's license in the province of British Columbia
Physically fit and able to lift 50 LBS;

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and a Canadian Government Security clearance.
