WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Position Overview

Supports warehouse operations by overseeing daily activities, assisting with inventory, and timely processing of orders. Helps maintain a secure and safe warehouse environment and supervises staff to meet scheduled delivery and efficiency goals.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, leading team in absence of Warehouse Manager.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
• Safety program leader ensure safety standards are met daily and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Supervises pulling and shipping activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure that all orders scheduled for next-day delivery are completed on time.
• Assist with printing paperwork, order pulling and shipping as needed.
• Pull, check, and load cigarette orders with drivers.
• Support inventory processes, including counts and organization.
• Ensure warehouse is properly secured and alarmed at the end of shifts.
• Assist with CVS audits and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2-3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to read, interpret and use visual instructions in order to perform required work
• Proficiency at using material handling equipment and metering small parcels
• Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving in a distribution environment, including any pertinent DOT, state, and local regulations
• Demonstrated ability to consistently follow safety protocols, maintain quality standards, and deliver customer-focused service.
• Proficient in computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet usage
• Must pass with a completely negative result a pre-employment drug test.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday & weekends when required
• 8 Hour Shift
• Reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Physical demands

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work is performed in a distribution warehouse environment.
