Warehouse Supervisor
The Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of outbound and inbound warehouse activities in a high volume environment. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Supervisor will lead a shift of associates to complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently while maintaining internal, external, and safety standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Team leadership: Managing a large team with diverse roles such as not limited to Cycle Counter, Warehouse Associates, Customer Service Representatives, Warehouse Leads and Dispatchers, delegating tasks, and ensuring shift performance meets organizational KPIs.
- Inventory & order accuracy: Ensuring products or parts are selected, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Material flow: Overseeing receiving, storage, and distribution of production or customer orders within the plant.
- Safety & compliance: Upholding health and safety policies, operating forklifts, and following plant procedures.
- Process improvement: Lead organizational improvement projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and support operational excellence.
- Internal / External Audits: preparation and presentation of audit-related documentation, including KPI performance, process reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordination: Liaising with other departments, management, and support staff.
- 3+ years in a warehouse or materials management role, preferably in automotive.
- Experience managing a large team and leading by example.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime.
- Valid driver’s license and forklift operation skills (often required).
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related field (sometimes preferred).
- Microsoft Office experience
- Lifting products/materials up to 40 pounds in weight
Preferred Skills
- SAP Logistics experience
- Knowledge of C-PAT requirements and audits
- Bilingual, English/Spanish
