Job Summary
A warehouse supervisor manages daily shift operations, team productivity, and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, loading, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to meet strict carrier deadlines
- Assign shift tasks to team members to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency
- Train new staff on warehouse procedures and safety protocols to maintain high performance standards
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching to improve productivity and quality
- Resolve item discrepancies by investigating and updating records using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 2 to 3+ years of hands-on warehouse or logistics supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency in WMS software, inventory databases, and MS Office preferred
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, time management, and multi-tasking skills preferred
