Warehouse Supervisor, Nights

Position Title: Night Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Saanichton, BC, V8M 1Z7
Wage: $27.00 - $30.00/ Hour
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operation

Organize daily workload and assign tasks to employees.
Oversee loading, receiving, and picking; ensure SOPs are followed
Ensure CFIA and HACCP policies are followed.
Liaise with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper flow of information between shifts.
Monitor safety in the warehouse and alert staff if procedures are not followed.
Troubleshoot any warehouse equipment issues.
Complete all required logs and reports.
Follow sanitation programs in all areas of the warehouse.

Supervision of Staff

Provide training for new employees.
Mentor and coach all employees on afternoon shift.
Maintain a positive environment that enhances the employees’ work experience.
Investigate, record and follow up on all employee discipline problems consistent with company policy and standard practices.
Keep employees informed of any changes to company policies, practices and procedures.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must have minimum of 3 years warehousing experience
Must have minimum of 1 year supervisory/ leadership experience
Excellent time management, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Forklift certification would be considered an asset.
Commitment to safety standards and practices.
Willingness to work in a cold environment.
Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
