Warehouse Supervisor

Safety and Team Leadership

• Leads daily start-up meetings, work assignments, safety observations, and shift handoffs; reinforces safe work practices and promptly addresses hazards.
• Supervises, trains, coaches, and evaluates production employees; manages attendance, performance, cross-training, and development in partnership with Human Resources.

Production Flow and Delivery

• Directs daily production flow from material receipt and staging through processing, packaging, and shipment to meet schedule and customer commitments.
• Balances labor, equipment, and work-in-process across production areas; adjusts priorities and escalates constraints, shortages, or downtime that threaten the plan.
• Monitors performance indicators such as schedule attainment, throughput, productivity, backlog, downtime, and on-time delivery; communicates results and recovery actions.

Quality, Inventory, and Improvement

• Ensures standard work, quality checks, traceability, and documentation requirements are followed; supports investigation and corrective action for defects or customer issues.
• Maintains accurate inventory movement and transaction discipline, including material identification, location control, cycle-count support, and reconciliation of discrepancies.

Leads continuous-improvement activities that reduce waiting, handling, rework, and other non-value-added work while improving workplace organization and equipment reliability.
