For our location in Magdeburg, we are looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor / Shift Leader as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and timely shipping processes, as well as monitor goods receipt, storage, and order picking

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff (both in-house and external personnel) in a 2-shift operation

• Plan work schedules and ensure the onboarding of new employees

• Train new employees in warehouse operations

• Maintain performance and quality standards, and provide appropriate KPI reports for customers and management

• Ensure cleanliness and order in the warehouse and storage areas

• Conduct regular inventories and analyze warehouse processes to identify possible process improvements, implement new warehouse management systems, and collaborate with other departments

• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and quality standard

• Conduct regular audits and quality checks

• Willingness to work shifts

Requirements

• Completed vocational training (e.g., warehouse logistics specialist, freight forwarding and logistics services clerk) – ideally with further qualification as a logistics master – and/or a degree in logistics

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar role, ideally in tire logistics

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Assertiveness, a high sense of responsibility, initiative, and drive

• Proficient in MS Office, warehouse management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
