Summary Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory. This role involves supervising a team of warehouse staff, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that operational procedures are followed, productivity targets are met, and safety protocols are strictly adhered to. They play a key role in training staff, resolving issues, and collaborating with other departments to optimize warehouse performance.

Essential Functions
- Supervise, train, and lead a team of warehouse associates in daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, storage, and inventory control.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and training to improve team performance and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee the movement and storage of goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
- Enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure that equipment and workstations are compliant with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Provide safety training and ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols and the correct use of equipment.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices for workflow optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management. Asset
- 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and inventory software.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in warehouse safety.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Education Requirement

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
