Warehouse Team Lead

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that the processes of receiving, shipping, and inventory control are carried out efficiently and accurately. This position is key to maintaining an organized and effective workflow in the warehouse, as well as upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse workers, including Warehouse Clerks and Forklift Operators.
• Coordinate daily activities for receiving, storing, and shipping goods to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper equipment use.
• Train team members on operational best practices and equipment safety.
• Resolve operational issues and make quick decisions to maintain efficiency.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes and increase productivity.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate logistical needs.

Requirements:

• Prior warehouse experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
