RUO NOTICE: Noble Harbor Sciences manufactures Research Use Only (RUO) peptide products. This role has no involvement with clinical, veterinary, or human-use applications. The Warehouse Team Member receives, stocks, and stages materials and components but holds no QC inspection, batch release, or disposition authority — released status is determined by QA under the NHS Quality Management System.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Team Member keeps NHS supplied and production-ready. The role centers on receiving inbound shipments from Amazon, Uline, and outside suppliers, stocking warehouse shelves with the incoming inventory, logging every inbound and outbound movement in the ERP, and staging materials and components for the production team ahead of scheduled runs.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role reporting to Operations leadership, with day-to-day direction from the Production Manager. The Warehouse Team Member moves, stocks, and stages materials but does not inspect them for release — incoming lots that require quality checks are routed to QC and held until QA grants released status.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Incoming Shipments

• Receive daily inbound shipments from Amazon, Uline, and outside suppliers; unbox and verify each against the packing slip or purchase order — item, quantity, lot number, and condition.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or shortages and flag any discrepancy to Operations before goods are put away.
• Route incoming API, excipient, and packaging lots that require quality checks to the QA Manager and hold them in quarantine; do not move any such lot into released inventory until the QA Manager confirms released status.

Stocking & Inventory Organization

• Load and organize warehouse shelves with received inventory, keeping bin/shelf locations labeled, logical, and easy to pick from.
• Rotate stock on a FIFO/FEFO basis and keep quarantine, released, and rejected material physically segregated to protect lot traceability.
• Store items under the correct conditions — including cold storage where required — and keep the storage area orderly.

ERP Logging & Data Entry

• Log every inbound receipt and outbound issue in the ERP contemporaneously — item, quantity, lot, and location — so on-hand counts stay accurate.
• Update inventory in the ERP as materials are staged for production, consumed, or returned to stock.
• Perform cycle counts on schedule and reconcile any discrepancies in the ERP, escalating unexplained variances to Operations.

Production Staging

• Pull and stage raw materials, excipients, and packaging components for scheduled production runs per the production team's needs and timing.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager on staging quantities and sequence, and confirm staged materials carry released QC status before handoff.
• Return unused materials to their storage locations and log the movement in the ERP.

Materials Coordination & Reorder

• Flag low stock and items approaching reorder thresholds — Uline packaging, consumables, and supplies — to Operations before shortages block production.
• Track what has been received against what is on order and support purchasing with accurate receiving records.

Facility & Housekeeping

• Keep receiving and storage areas clean, orderly, and safe, following good housekeeping and good distribution practices.
• Report any storage-condition excursion, damaged stock, or facility issue immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years in warehouse, receiving, stocking, or inventory work preferred.
• Attention to detail with counts, lot numbers, and labeling — accuracy matters more than speed.
• Comfortable working in an ERP or inventory system and entering receipts, issues, and counts accurately.
• Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs, stand and move for extended periods, and work in cold-storage and controlled environments.
• Reliable and able to follow receiving, storage, and segregation procedures exactly as written.
• Forklift or pallet-jack experience a plus.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a QC or QA role. The Warehouse Team Member does not inspect material for quality, disposition lots, or grant released status — incoming goods are received, segregated, and routed to QC, and QA determines what is released for use. The role owns accurate, traceable physical handling of goods — receiving, stocking, ERP logging, and staging; QA owns quality disposition.
