Warehouse Tech

Member of the Sourcing Department at Cumberland Mine whose responsibilities include receiving and issuing material and assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in operating and maintaining a safe and clean work area. This position assists mine management in fulfilling all of their daily needs. Also includes handling emergency purchases during other than normal business hours.

Work Schedule:

Work schedule is afternoon shift - 4pm - 12am. Successful candidate must be able to fill in for illness and vacations when necessary.

Job Specific and/or Technical Skills Required

1. Computer Skills
2. Knowledge of Material Management Systems
3. Ability to operate a forklift

Major Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Functions
2. Reviewing Open Warehouse Requisitions
3. Resolve packing slips and quantity discrepancies.
4. Cycle Counting
5. Handling emergency purchases for mine operations.
