About the Role

As a Warehouse Technician at Swagelok Texas Mid-Coast (STMC), you play an important role in supporting our customers and our team by ensuring Swagelok products are handled accurately, efficiently, and safely from the time they arrive at our facility until they are shipped to the customer.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative warehouse and operations team to receive inventory, pull and prepare orders, maintain an organized warehouse, and help ensure our customers receive the right products, in the right condition, and on time.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys staying active, works well as part of a team, and wants the opportunity to learn and grow.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory.
• Pick, verify, package, and prepare customer and production orders for shipment.
• Check orders for accuracy after successfully completing required checker training.
• Operate barcode scanners and material-handling equipment to efficiently move and track products.
• Inspect products for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required warehouse transactions in company systems.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, organized, and aligned with 5S standards.
• Follow STMC safety policies, quality standards, and established warehouse procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse, operations, customer service, and inspection teams to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Cross-train in warehouse functions to build skills and provide additional support to the team.
• Carefully handle Swagelok products and company assets to maintain product quality and inventory integrity.
• Perform other warehouse-related responsibilities as business needs require.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse and material-handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Comfortable learning and using barcode scanners, inventory systems, shipping software, Outlook, Teams, and other business systems.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn and contribute is equally important.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is an active, hands-on warehouse position. To successfully perform the essential functions of the role, an associate must be able to:

• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, squat, and perform other movements associated with picking, packing, stocking, and handling warehouse materials.
• Regularly use hands and arms to handle, move, package, and organize products and materials.
• Safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Safely use warehouse equipment and material-handling tools as required for the position.
• Perform work requiring attention to product identification, labeling, order accuracy, and safe material handling.

Work is primarily performed in a clean, organized, air-conditioned warehouse environment. The position involves regular movement throughout the warehouse and interaction with warehouse equipment, products, packaging materials, and other associates.
