Overview
A POS employee is required to work in multiple locations in the POS warehouse. Includes picking orders assigned, unloading and loading inventory trailers and deliveries. Employees will also be responsible for inventorying the warehouse on a scheduled basis, or AdHoc, as business needs require. Employees will also be responsible for putting away products, self-service area upkeep, and mailroom distribution.
Responsibilities
Communication
· Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and abilities to appropriately communicate with managerial staff and other employees.
· Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Performance
· Must have strong detail orientation, understand product differences, and read product labels.
· Should be able to take direction to perform the desired tasks.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience within a warehouse or distribution environment preferred - MHE experience
  • Experience in automated warehouse preferred
  • Must have basic skills in math, English including reading and identifying product labels, location codes, warehouse sorting labels, customer orders
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated starting salary for this role is $18 per hour. This is a union position and is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Benefits such as medical coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off are provided in accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement.
