Warehouse worker in Guam handling receiving, inventory tracking, and material storage using Excel and warehouse software while operating warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Receive goods and materials in accordance with established warehouse procedures. Verify the accuracy and completeness of receiving documents, including Bills of Lading (BL), Shipping Invoices, and Delivery Notes, and ensure proper storage based on the type of materials received.
- Sort and classify incoming materials (new and existing inventory) to ensure proper storage, organization, and efficient retrieval.
- Conduct regular inventory stock-taking activities and prepare accurate inventory reports. Maintain and organize inventory records for reference and audit purposes.
- Prepare and maintain all documentation related to the receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of materials. Inspect incoming materials to verify quantity, quality, and condition prior to acceptance and distribution.
- Accurately encode and update material receiving, material issuance, inventory transactions, and stock records using the Company's computerized inventory or warehouse management system. Ensure all data entered is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Demonstrate computer proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and Word), email, and other warehouse or inventory management software required for daily warehouse operations and reporting.
- Stack, label, arrange, and store materials in designated locations in accordance with warehouse standards. Maintain accurate location records and update inventory information as necessary.
- Utilize standard warehouse forms and documentation for material requests, receipts, issuances, transfers, and other warehouse transactions.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department regarding incoming deliveries and manage the receiving, recording, storage, loading, unloading, and preparation of materials for distribution.
- Ensure all material handling activities comply with Company policies, warehouse procedures, and work instructions to prevent damage, loss, and unnecessary costs. Operate warehouse tools, equipment, and machinery safely and only for their intended purpose.
- Apply safe and efficient material handling practices while maintaining awareness of personal safety and the protection of Company assets, particularly in high-risk work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and good housekeeping throughout the warehouse to promote a safe working environment and protect stored materials.
- Prepare daily warehouse reports covering material receipts, issuances, inventory movements, and other warehouse activities. Maintain accurate records for monitoring, reporting, and future reference.
- Update inventory records daily and ensure that all stock balances are accurate, reconciled, and properly documented.
- Coordinate closely with the Warehouse Supervisor regarding daily warehouse operations, priorities, and operational requirements. Seek clarification whenever necessary to ensure the proper execution of assigned duties.
- Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and other documentation as required by the Warehouse Supervisor or Management.
- Operate Company-authorized vehicles, including flatbed trucks and other assigned vehicles, to facilitate the safe loading, unloading, transport, and delivery of materials in accordance with Company policies, traffic regulations, and safety requirements. Maintain a valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and perform basic vehicle safety inspections before operation.
- Assist in expediting material deliveries and internal material transfers to support operational requirements and ensure the timely movement of materials between warehouse locations and project sites.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Management in support of warehouse operations and business objectives.
