ALJ Logistics operates within Abdul Latif Jameel's transportation business, focusing on logistics operations and commercial services. Its activities include freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, customs coordination, and cross-border logistics.
Role Purpose:
Lead warehouse operations to deliver safe, accurate, efficient, and customer-focused receiving, storage, inventory control, value-added services, and dispatch activities in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Activities:
- Plan and control inbound, put-away, storage, picking, packing, value-added services, and outbound operations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, stock integrity, cycle counting, reconciliation, and effective loss prevention. Provide accurate performance, capacity, safety, cost, and risk reporting to management.
- Manage labor, space, equipment, shifts, productivity, capacity, and subcontracted services. Manage vendors for equipment, maintenance, manpower, security, and facility services.
- Maintain warehouse safety, security, quality, food or product handling, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
- Monitor customer SLAs, operational KPIs, claims, damages, and service exceptions; implement corrective actions. Lead, train, and develop warehouse supervisors and teams while maintaining workforce discipline and continuity. Improve warehouse layout, slotting, labor standards, process flows, and material handling methods.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in warehousing or distribution operations.
- At least 3 years of experience in management.
- Certification in Warehouse Management, Lean Six Sigma, Occupational Safety, or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
