Washplant Operator - Sunday - Thursday - Backshift

We're currently looking for a proactive Washplant Operator to join our team, working backshift Sunday to Thursday with every 3rd saturday. This role is essential in ensuring our potato cleaning process meets our high standards for quality before the products proceed to the production line.

Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate and monitor the washplant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks on washed potatoes to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of washing equipment to uphold operational standards.
- Document production metrics and maintain accurate records of operations.
- Follow health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and address any operational challenges.
Requirements
- Able to work full shifts in a physically demanding role, including spending extended periods standing and walking.
- Able to communicate effectively in spoken English to carry out the duties of the role safely and efficiently.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Must be able to travel reliably to our Airdrie site for scheduled shifts.
- Available to work Sundays as part of the shift pattern.
