Waste Management Manager (2475)

We are seeking an experienced Waste Management Manager to plan, direct, and oversee all waste collection, recycling, and disposal operations. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations while leading operational efficiency, waste reduction initiatives, and cost-control strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and oversee waste collection, recycling, and disposal operations

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations

• Supervise, train, and evaluate waste management staff and contractors

• Develop and implement waste reduction and sustainability strategies

• Identify and execute cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives

• Monitor performance metrics and prepare operational reports

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling procedures

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field (preferred)

• Proven experience in waste management or environmental services

• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste management regulations and practices

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and operational planning
