Waste Management Supervisor
Summary
Supervises daily waste collection operations in Abuja, coordinating routes, ensuring proper disposal, and maintaining records while managing a team in the field.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising daily waste collection operations and ensuring assigned targets are achieved.
Coordinating the collection of waste from residential, commercial, and industrial premises according to approved routes and schedules.
Ensuring all waste is transported and disposed of at approved dump sites.
Maintaining accurate operational records, including waste collection logs and daily reports.
Ensuring client log sheets are properly completed and acknowledged.
Reporting incidents of refusal to subscribe to waste management services, indiscriminate waste disposal, or waste burning with appropriate evidence.
Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients, estate managers, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Ensuring the team operates safely, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
Requirements
Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Must reside within or close to the advertised location.
Ability to supervise a team and work effectively in a target-driven environment.
Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Must be proficient in using a smartphone for reporting and documentation.
Willingness to work in the field from Monday to Friday.
Previous experience in waste management, environmental health, logistics, operations, compliance, or any field supervisory role is an added advantage but not mandatory.
