Water Sports Manager (Seasonal) – Amanpuri

The Water Sports Manager – Seasonal will lead Amanpuri’s Water Sports and Marine operation throughout the resort’s high season, from November 2026 to April 2027. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering safe, personalized and memorable marine experiences while maintaining Amanpuri’s standards of service, safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the daily Water Sports and Marine operation, ensuring safe, seamless and personalized guest experiences in line with Amanpuri standards.

• Personally conduct and support activities including wakeboarding, wakeskating and stand-up paddleboarding, providing professional guidance and instruction to guests.

• Lead, motivate and manage the Water Sports team, ensuring strong service delivery, teamwork and safety awareness.

• Plan daily activities, team assignments and operational priorities according to guest demand, staffing, weather and sea conditions.

• Maintain the highest standards of marine and recreational safety, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Aman operating standards.

• Conduct guest safety briefings and monitor weather and sea conditions, adjusting or suspending activities when required.

• Ensure boats, boards, life jackets, rescue equipment and all Water Sports equipment are properly inspected, maintained and ready for use.

• Lead and support emergency response procedures, including marine rescue, CPR and First Aid.

• Manage equipment inventory, preventative maintenance, repairs, purchasing and departmental expenses.

• Work closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Security, Engineering and other departments to coordinate guest activities and operational requirements.

• Maintain appropriate operational, maintenance, safety and incident records.

• Promote responsible marine practices and support Amanpuri’s commitment to sustainability and care for the natural environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.

• Proven senior-level experience in Water Sports and Marine Operations, preferably within a luxury resort, hospitality or marine environment.

• Strong practical experience in wakeboarding, wakeskating and stand-up paddleboarding, with sound knowledge of marine safety, emergency procedures and risk management.

• Proven leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication and confidence engaging with international guests.

• Physically fit, highly organized and able to multitask, prioritize and make sound decisions in changing weather and sea conditions.

• Experience in budget and equipment management, with a strong passion for water sports, sustainability and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
