Water treatment Technician
Summary
Operates and maintains water treatment systems by handling chemical deliveries, monitoring equipment, and recording daily usage and service reports in a manufacturing facility.
Receive chemical deliveries from Diversey
Drive a forklift (only if you have been trained)
Offloading of chemicals from truck
Submit relevant paperwork after deliveries to Technicians
Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to daytanks, if necessary. Use barricades and signage
Check and record all stock levels
Complete a daily usage report
Compile Action Log for each report
Submit the daily pasteurizer report to Account Manager/Technician before shift end
Complete a daily service report for boilers,cooling systems , pasteurizers and chlorine dioxide
Check for slime and beer foam in the pasteurizer.
Collect samples from boilers , cooling systems , pasteurizers and chlorine dioxide systems for testing purposes .
Check for leaks in equipment, pumps, tanks, around chemical stations
Check if the are enough testing reagents onsite .
Capture data/ concerns from operators Ensure good housekeeping around the bulk storage areas & chemical stations
