Coleman Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Water & Wastewater Engineer who is passionate about designing and delivering essential municipal infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and serving communities through water treatment, wastewater treatment, and utility pipeline projects.

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Water & Wastewater Engineer who thrives in a client-facing, collaborative consulting environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality municipal infrastructure projects, enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams, and is eager to take ownership of their work while contributing to business development and team growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with permitting agencies, utility companies, and stakeholders to guide projects through approval processes.
- Provide engineering design services, including calculations for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and linear pipeline projects.
- Develop Basis of Design Reports that meet both client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Create, update, and review project specifications as needed.
- Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure project success and alignment.
- Support Project Managers and leadership to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and constructable projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Project Manager to prepare fee proposals and Statements of Qualifications.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Prepare and deliver project updates, documentation, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and public entities.
- Participate in municipal client marketing and business development efforts related to water and wastewater services.
- Work collaboratively with civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors to produce master plans, construction documents, specifications, estimates, and engineering reports.
